SantoriniLocal is an independent travel guide to Santorini, Greece, operated by an individual publisher based on the island. You can contact us at info@santorinilocal.com.
What we collect
Email address — only if you choose to subscribe to our newsletter. Usage data — pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site, collected through analytics. Cookies — small files stored by your browser, described in our Cookie Policy.
We do not collect names, payment details or any sensitive personal information. Bookings are made on third-party sites, not here.
Why we collect it
To send you the newsletter you asked for, to understand which pages are useful and improve them, and to measure whether links to partner sites are working.
Who processes your data
MailerLite for newsletter subscriptions. Google Analytics and Google Search Console for site usage. GetYourGuide and CJ Affiliate for tracking clicks on booking links. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can request a copy of the data we hold, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, withdraw consent at any time, and complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority. Email info@santorinilocal.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Newsletter
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email. Your address is stored by MailerLite and never sold or shared.
