SantoriniLocal exists for one reason: to tell you the truth about this island — the good, the overrated and the genuinely special — from someone who actually lives and works here, year round.
I'm not a travel agency and I'm not writing from an office on the other side of the world. I live on Santorini through every season — the frantic August crush, the gentle gold of September, and the quiet winter months when the island belongs to its residents again. Everything on this site is written from that vantage point: places I've actually been, tours I'd actually send my own friends on, and the small practical knowledge you only get from being here.
